Bronte Jones

UK Pink Firefighter

Bronte joined the fire service at just 18 and has always seen UK Pink Firefighters as the elite role models of the profession. To now become one herself is something she has worked relentlessly towards. Bronte describes herself as a doer. Someone who shows up, takes action, and looks for ways to make the biggest positive impact possible. While her achievements include being a British record holding weightlifter and performing on the Gladiators Live Tour, what matters most to her is not what she has done, but how she shows up, and the impact that has on others. She proudly challenges stereotypes. People do not always expect her to be a firefighter, or an elite strength athlete, but she proves daily that hard work, belief, and determination can break any mould. Bronte is deeply motivated by inspiring young people, something she experiences first hand through public appearances, motivational speaking, and working closely with charities such as Sheffield Children’s Hospital and Weston Park Cancer Charity, helping raise over £70,000 in the past year alone. Raising awareness around breast cancer, however, is deeply personal for Bronte. Bronte lives by the belief that life is short, unpredictable, and too precious to waste waiting for the right moment. She seeks challenge, growth, and purpose, and embodies the values at the heart of UK Pink Firefighters.
